LIGHT UP YOUR LIFE FOR SUPER BOWL 2024
The excitement is building, with final conference playoffs coming up and Super Bowl 2024 just weeks away.
Last week, you sent out email invitations to friends and family inviting them to your 2024 Super Bowl Weekend Bash, and over the last month you’ve accelerated preparations to make it a unique and memorable event. In fact, when your guests arrive, they will be greeted with splashes of Super Bowl team colors bathing the façade of your spacious estate on Green Mountain in Huntsville, Alabama in celebratory ambiance, thanks to the strategic placement of numerous Aurora luminaires by AiSPIRE in your perfectly manicured landscaping.
MOTORIZED SHADES FOR COMFORT MANAGEMENT
All of your AV gear has now been updated to state-of-the-art technology, controlled and synchronized by Crestron Home Automation technology. But as you imagined your humble abode filled with as many as one hundred guests at different times throughout that weekend, you became a bit concerned about occasional overflow issues - and called your integrator at AV Enthusiast for suggestions. He recommended that you use your recently-enlarged covered patio as an overflow area, adding patio heaters alongside the gas-log fireplace for added warmth and automated Zen®2 outdoor motorized shades from Screen Innovations to block excessive light from interfering with the video quality on your SunBrite 75” Signature 2 outdoor TV. These award-winning shades also block light winds and can be combined with an anemometer that will automatically raise them if high winds are detected. In addition, they feature built-in obstruction detection that automatically reverses them if an object, person, or animal is detected as the shade is lowered. They can be ordered in a variety of colors and fabric types and are easily integrated with Crestron Home.
Not knowing if they could be shipped and installed before your Super Bowl Bash, you decided to go for it anyway, hoping that the job can be done in time. If not, your efforts won’t be wasted because it’s a project that is on your to-do list anyway.
LIGHTING THAT ELEVATES MOOD
Your next thoughts wandered to “crowd management” – you suddenly realized that conflicts could arise within such a diverse crowd of people participating in varied activities throughout the weekend. How will you keep that many people happy with each other at all times? It may be impossible, of course, but perhaps your whole-home lighting system will help since it syncs up with the circadian rhythms of the sun through the use of Crestron photo sensors and therefore will positively affect the mood and health of everyone there. In addition to that, your Philips Hue strip lights and Crestron LED lights are tunable – meaning that they can be set to festive colors that will hopefully keep everyone in a congenial, celebratory mood.
LIGHTING THAT CELEBRATES EACH TOUCHDOWN
Speaking of celebratory moods, you had a bright idea about a week ago to have AV Enthusiast add wireless strip lights around the edge of the Screen Innovations ALR projection screen in your home theater, in addition to each of the numerous Sony Bravia 4K OLED TVs throughout the estate. Then you added a Quick Action in Crestron Home that will allow you to flash those lights in the appropriate team colors with each touchdown made, adding to the exuberant enthusiasm in the room as the two teams battle it out for the coveted win. It’s the perfect finishing touch.
