This can make it extremely difficult to understand what you are buying and what you need to get the best performance out of your system. Today we are going to try and explain another set of terms and what they mean to your Home Entertainment experience; 4K, UHD and HDR.

Welcome to the second session in AV Enthusiast’s AV 101 series, What is a Smart Home? We hear the term “smart home” thrown around in the media, in web articles and on the news. As is often said, “Knowledge is power”, so we want to help all of our readers be more knowledgable of A/V terms. This article will be the first in a series that attempt to explain industry terminology in a way that everyone can understand.
