Leading the Way in Technology Integration

Steven Douglas
Founder / CEO
Steven grew up wanting to lead a company or start his own business and was always
interested in electronics and finances. His father was always in electronics and built his own AM/FM radio
from parts when he was only 9 years old, so it was his father whom he caught the electronics "bug" from.
His mother was the more financial minded person and that is where the finance portion came from. Those
two together gave Steven what he needed to start an A/V Technology Firm in 2009 during the worst
recession the USA had experienced, this was after starting with NASA in 2002 performing AV installs and
then for a High End residential AV Integrator up until April of 2009.

Jennifer Douglas
CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
Jennifer Worked for a bank from 2002 to 2013 and received her BA from UAH with a degree in business. She and Steven are married, she was working for a bank in the first years of their relationship and after having their first kid they decided it was time that she worked full time for the family businesses.

Kevin Douglas
CIO (Chief Integrator Officer)
Kevin and Steven are brothers, immediately out of High School Kevin was working for a landscaper and quickly got tired of lifting large boulders in the mud and so he left that job and he started working under Steven at a High End residential AV Integration firm in 2005. In 2011 he started working at A V Enthusiast. He has numerous certifications with audio/video manufacturers, networking manufacturers and control systems such as Crestron, RTI, SAVANT, Lutron and more.

Mike Bailey
COO (Chief of Operations)
Mike first started in management in 1993 and has been in management positions ever since. Although he has never worked in the technology sector previous to A V Enthusiast, his management skills has been monumental in our operations and growth since he joined in January of 2020.

Boyce Barkley
Programmer
Boyce joined AV-Enthusiast in 2021, fueled by a lifelong passion for electricity and electronics. His early interest in repairing radios and turntables led him to pursue two-channel Hi-Fi, speaker design, and construction, aiming for the “perfect sound.” He earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in electricity and electronics from Calhoun Community College and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, learning digital logic design, circuits, and programming languages like C++ and Python. Now a Crestron certified programmer & DIRAC Live programmer Boyce’s curiosity and ambition remain as strong as his teenage days repairing radios in his dad’s garage.
