Screen Innovations (SI) recently unveiled its latest highly innovative product for the residential outdoor shading market. Named KAOS™(Kick Ass Outdoor Shades), SI proclaims that these automated shades will withstand hurricane-force winds up to 150 mph (with a lower-rated 110 mph option) without breaking away from its patent-pending V-Screen Retention System.

As was recently proven in the states of Georgia, South and North Carolina, and Tennessee (in addition to many states even further north), high winds, tornadoes, and severe flooding generated by a CAT 5 hurricane such as Helene have a very far reach. The high-wind option (110 mph) is available for order now and comes in 9 standard powder coat options: Anthracite, Beach Sand, Carbon, Corten, Dune, Glacier, Granite, Urban Bronze, or White Quartz. Other features include:
