Crestron Residential Audio Solutions is a natively-designed part of the Crestron Home platform, providing seamless integration with Crestron products as well as other custom solutions. It includes a full selection of performance speakers that pair seamlessly with Crestron’s DM NAX™ network audio technology, which can be flawlessly integrated into their Audio-Video-over-IP Distribution System, DM NVX™.

DM NAX™ INTEGRATED INTO DM NVX™

With the marriage of DM NAX to DM NVX, you can listen to your favorite artist, playlist, or streaming service in any room of your home.  Your selection can be routed to any speaker or group of speakers with a single tap on a touchscreen or your phone. Whether it be Reba McEntire or the Boston Symphony Orchestra, you can listen to it on any speaker(s) in any room or any zone you want.  And, of course, if you don’t want to miss one second of the big game,

both audio and video can be distributed to TVs throughout your home, or perhaps simply to your sports bar, while Mom and the kids are watching The Little Mermaid poolside.

A COOL ADDITION:  CHIMES

As an added feature, Crestron built a library of chimes (such as door bell, siren, or a sequence of sounds) into the DM NAX.  You choose which chime to assign to which zone, and when a chime is triggered, the zone audio can be set to either duck or pause.

WHOLE-HOME PAGING

In addition, whole-home paging is a recent addition to the Crestron Home suite that comes with the Crestron Home OS 4 upgrade.  As with any other audio source available on your system, pages can be made to any individual room or zone in your home.

CRESTRON HOME® OS 4 PUTS YOU IN CONTROL

With its latest update to the Crestron Home operating system, Crestron has put the reins of control into the hands of the homeowner, through individualized, passworded logins for each member of the household.

Any household member who has this access can make individual customized audio settings that cater to their tastes (in accordance with permissions granted to them, of course).  This can be achieved using either a smart phone or one of Crestron’s high-resolution touch screens, such as the TSW-1070R, located in multiple rooms throughout the home.
