Crestron has aesthetically redesigned its QMT® 3 Series Shade Motor Décor Hardware Collection to guarantee the upscale look demanded by its customers.  Part of the update includes a range of modern-style end caps, available in white, almond, light grey, dark grey, brown, or black.  Along with black mounting brackets and a black motor head that conceals the inner workings of the shade, these additions provide a sleek, stylish look combined with a durable and sturdy design that guarantees long-lasting quality and safety.  

AVAILABLE DECEMBER 2023: NEW RECHARGEABLE ROLLER SHADES

If you are looking for the latest innovation in motorized shades and a perfect option for a retrofit, look no further than Crestron’s new line of wireless, motorized roller shades that are powered by a rechargeable, lithium-ion battery housed  within the shade motor assembly. This eco-friendly battery provides uninterrupted performance for up to 12 months. (Crestron’s current line of wireless roller shades uses 8 non-rechargeable D-cell batteries residing in an external battery compartment that is mounted in the fascia of the shade hardware and is hidden behind the roller shade fabric.)

The installation of wireless shades provides many benefits to the homeowner, especially those who currently use corded shades.  As many people can attest, pets and young children are at risk of becoming entangled in the cords and possibly suffering serious injury.  In addition, the absence of those messy cords allow for a cleaner, sleeker look and the wireless operability adds ease-of-use, especially for hard-to-reach windows.

Charging the battery in these shades is a snap – simply attach the USB-C® charging device to the port on the motor housing, then plug the 5-volt power supply into an outlet.

Other key features include an extremely quiet and powerful 1.75Nm motor and seamless integration with Crestron Home® OS 4, providing a simple and easy way to program, monitor, and control these stylish and unique shades.

Last but definitely not least, these shades are available in Crestron’s Designer and Heritage fabric collections, with a variety of opacity options including sheer, light-filtering, and blackout fabrics and openness factors that range from 0% to 15%.
